In 2012, I left St. Louis with a graduate degree in Media Communications and a suitcase and headed to New York City.
Since then, I have worked for some of the world’s biggest brands, including Sony Corporation, New York Magazine, Getty Images, and Google.
I also launched an international media company, Left Bank Media, which is made of Chez Nous Guide (featured in Refinery29, Fast Company, AdHoc) and Left Bank Magazine (featured in The Guardian, Popdust, Audiofemme, etc).

Founder/Creative Director, Left Bank Media
2018 — Present
Some would call it a ‘side hustle’ but I turned it into a full-time career. Left Bank Media is made up of Left Bank Magazine music and art publication (which I started in 2014) and has been mentioned in The Guardian, Audiofemme, Popdust, etc. It also includes Chez Nous Guide and Chez Nous Studio—a directory and agency for finding and supporting minority-owned, sustainable, and conscious businesses.
Email Content Manager, Google (Contract)
2019- 2020
When the opportunity to work at Google came up, I couldn’t say no. I’ve always been so impressed by the technical brilliance and scale of Google, and couldn’t wait to start (after finishing up a vacation in Bali). At Google, I’ve had the pleasure of writing and editing email content for the Local Guides program, part of Google Maps.
Senior Copywriter, Getty Images
2017-2018
Getty Images was in the process of creating an in-house Creative Services team and I couldn’t have been happier when they called me in to join the team. From collaborating on their global style guide to writing a print ad in French, I had the opportunity to make a mark at one of the world’s most influential companies.
Copywriter, New York Magazine
2016-2017
At New York Magazine, I was able to put my journalism degree and copy skills to the test. I had the pleasure of working on media kits, in-book advertising, podcasts spots, event marketing materials, internal marketing presentations, and more.
Digital Marketing Manager, Sony
2013-2016
My career started at Sony Music in New York in 2013. I had just finished my graduate studies and after studying abroad for a semester in London, I realized big cities were my thing. I was a receptionist and executive assistant at their eCommerce agency rGENERATOR, but quickly got promoted to PR & Communications Specialist. I worked through the ranks from 2013-2016 to become Digital Marketing Manager on international entertainment brands—including Adam Lambert, Bob Dylan, One Direction, and Candy Crush. The company spun off into a vinyl-specific international eCommerce business, Popmarket, where I led digital marketing and content.
